Skiing Sunday 12/21 Brighton

12/21

Brighton - snow and lots of powder. Skied magestic lift then Crest Express. Skied across parking lot to get to Milly lift.

Too many snow boarders that side who were trying to jump and do stunts. On last run on this lift before going back to crest got stuck in deep powder and lost Saagar who skied on in front of me.

Finally got upon skis and ended back at Milly.

Saagar skied to Crest and left message with liftees to notify me to come to Crest.

Finally got back with Saagar and decided to ski to snake creek express. Found great skiing ther. We skied great bumps and through the trees at least 5 runs. Got very good chance to work on short turns and speed control.

Decided to go in about 3:45. To catch 4:09 bus (960 line).

Bus was full so we stood most of the way back

Got to our stop and had to go to the smiths grocery store to get birthday card for Bitu’s birthday.

Cypress Half Marathon November 09 2025

I ran the Cypress Half Marathon on Sunday November 09 2025. Stayed the night at Mom and Dad's house. While training for this event I was running on October 16 and I tripped and sprained my ankle. It was the worst sprain I can remember. I did not run for nearly a week after this as I as nursed the ankle in an ice bucket and took ibuprofen to help with the swelling and pain. That really impacted my training as I could not start training until after I came back from Norway on September 17th which was 7 weeks out from the date of the race. Also I had signed up to run the Sugarland half on Sunday October 12, 2025 but we had planned to visit Saagar for his birthday so we were out in SFO for that weekend. It was probably for the best as that would have been only 4 weeks to train. I was able to do the Marina run club with Saagar and get a 6 mile run in that weekend.
